Saints Host Pair of Must Win Playoff Games this Weekend

DUBUQUE, IA- Home ice has been kind to the Dubuque Fighting Saints in the playoffs, and with a pre-game tailgate Friday, and special ticket offers this weekend, the Fighting Saints are hoping the Dubuque fans are able to cheer them to a pair of needed victories. Since their return to the USHL in 2010, Dubuque is 17-1 at the Mystique Community Ice Center in the playoffs, and now, with their backs against the wall, the Fighting Saints return home this weekend to host a pair of must win games in the Eastern Conference Finals. Dubuque trails Indiana two games to none in the best-of-five series, and Game 3, presented by media partner WGLR is Friday at 7:35 p.m. If the Fighting Saints win Friday, they will play Game 4 Saturday at 7:05 p.m.
Prior to puck drop of Friday's game, QueenB Radio will be hosting a pre-game tailgate outside the Mystique Community Ice Center. The event will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and features music, yard games and a chance to win great prizes. Food and drinks, such as burgers, brats, hot dogs and bottled beverages will be available for purchase.
Friday's Game 3 is a Telegraph Herald Family Four Pack night. The package includes 4 tickets, 4 slices of Domino's Pizza, 4 sodas and 2 Kids Zone vouchers starting at just $48 when purchased in advance. The advertised price is in the Ice Box sections, and TH Family Four packs can be purchased online by using promo code "family."
Friday's game is presented by media partner WGLR, and several lucky fans will have a chance to be selected to participate in a "Finish the Lyrics" contest to win a pair of tickets to enjoy a country music concert at the American River Festival in June. WGLR will also host a "Rapid Fire Contest" during the game's first intermission Friday night. Contestants will have a chance to score as many goals as they can in 30 seconds, and the most goals in the allotted time wins a $97.00 gift certificate to Family Beer and Liquor.
Both Friday's game, and Saturday's if necessary contest, will feature another special offer. All fans 18 and over who purchase tickets to either Eastern Conference Finals game will receive a 50/50 raffle ticket for each ticket purchased. The raffle tickets will give Fighting Saints fans the opportunity to win a cash prize in the nightly drawing, which will be held during both games. This offer is valid for full-price tickets purchased in person at the Fighting Saints box office and cannot be combined with any other offer. Proceeds from the raffle will benefit the Northern Lights Hockey Foundation.
This Friday and Saturday are College Nights. With a valid college ID, students can score a special deal that includes an end section ticket and $5 in Saints Bucks, good for concessions or merchandise, for just $10.

If the Fighting Saints are able to win both Friday and Saturday, the series will return to Indianapolis for a winner-take-all Game 5. That game would be Tuesday, May 6 at 6:05 p.m. CT and the winner would advance to the Clark Cup Final.
