Today's Game: Coming off pitching their first shutout of the season, the RedHawks seek a third straight win as they continue their four-game series against Round Rock at 7:05 p.m. at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

Last Game: A two-run home run by Gregorio Petit in the first inning provided all of the offense the RedHawks needed in a 2-0 win against Round Rock Tuesday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Mike Foltynewicz, Rhiner Cruz, Chia-Jen Lo, and Josh Zeid combined on the four-hit shutout, recording eight strikeouts. Foltynewicz allowed two hits, walked four and struck out three over four innings. Cruz (1-0) followed and recorded his first win of the season, allowing two hits and striking out three over two innings. Lo and Zeid (S, 3) combined to retire all nine hitters they faced. Oklahoma City outfielder Robbie Grossman walked to lead off the bottom of the first inning. With one out, Petit then sent a home run into the bleachers in left field to score Grossman for a 2-0 lead. Round Rock starting pitcher Justin Germano (1-3) then retired 16 straight RedHawks batters and 23 of 25 he faced after the homer. Germano held the RedHawks to three hits, walked one and struck out six over in the complete game loss.

Today's Probable Pitcher: Jake Buchanan (1-2) is scheduled to make his team-leading sixth start of the season for the RedHawks, and second of the season against the Express...In his last start Friday against Nashville in OKC, Buchanan was charged with his second loss of 2014, allowing three runs on six hits over four innings. All three runs scored on a three-run homer by Hunter Morris with two outs in the third inning...The Morris home run also accounts for all the runs he's allowed over his first two outings at home this season (9.0 IP)...Buchanan has not issued a walk in four of his last five appearances, and issued just two walks over his last 19.2 IP. He enters tonight with a 3.5/1 strikeout-to-walk ratio...Buchanan's season debut was April 4 in Round Rock. He allowed four runs on four hits, with two walks and three strikeouts while picking up the loss. The Express jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead in the first on a three-run homer by Brad Snyder and eventually won, 5-0...In two career outings against the Express, Buchanan has allowed 10 runs and 15 hits over 10 innings, going 0-2...He made 12 starts for the RedHawks last season, splitting 2013 between Double-A Corpus Christi and OKC, going 12-7 with a 2.96 ERA...He was 7-2 with the Hooks and named a Texas League All-Star. At the time of his promotion, he led the league with a 2.08 ERA and 0.93 WHIP. He also ranked fourth in average (.226) and fifth in innings (82.0)...With OKC, he went 5-5 with a 3.89 ERA.

Against the Express: 2014: 4-2 2013: 8-8 All-time: 80-69 In OKC: 39-35

The RedHawks and Express split their season-opening series in Round Rock April 3-6...Ronny Torreyes is 10-for-24 against the Express this season and Jon Singleton has hit two home runs with six RBI...OKC's pitching staff has limited Round Rock to a .185 batting average...The teams split their 16 meetings in 2013, with each team winning five of eight on the road...Even though the teams finished even in the season series, the Express outscored the RedHawks, 96-73...Round Rock finished 5-3 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark last season and has finished with winning records in Bricktown two of the last three seasons...After scoring 57 runs with 12 homers over eight games in OKC in 2013, the Express have been limited to one run and no homers over the two games in this series...The RedHawks have struck out at least eight Express hitters in each of their first six meetings and have registered at least 10 K's in three of those games. They have 61 total strikeouts over 54.0 IP against Round Rock.

Goose-Egged: Last night the RedHawks recorded their first shutout of the season as well as their first since a 5-0 blanking of Iowa on July 27, 2013. Three of OKC's last five shutouts have come at the expense of the Express. Entering tonight, the RedHawks have thrown 16 consecutive scoreless innings.

Make 'Em Count: Round Rock pitcher Justin Germano held the RedHawks to a season-low three hits last night. It's the fewest hits the RedHawks have recorded in a victory since also notching three in a 3-2 win over Albuquerque on Aug. 16, 2013.

Not Petit at the Plate: RedHawks infielder Gregorio Petit has hit safely in his last 10 games - a new personal season best and the second-longest by a RedHawk this season (Max Stassi - 12). During the streak he's hitting .366 (15x41), including a home run, six doubles, five RBI and 10 runs scored. Petit leads the RedHawks with 32 hits and 10 multi-hit games. Both of his home runs this season have come against Round Rock.

DomingO-K-C: Despite going 0-for-3 Tuesday, Domingo Santana is batting .415 (17x41) with eight extra-base hits and 10 RBI through his first 10 home games. He has hit safely in nine of his last 11 games overall, batting .372 (16x43) and including five multi-hit games. He is currently batting .291 overall and his 30 hits this season rank tied for second on the team with Ronny Torreyes.

RISPy Business: Round Rock went 0-for-7 with runners in scoring position yesterday, and over the six games of the current homestand, the RedHawks have held opponents to a .105 (4x38) mark with runners in scoring position.

Dinger Details: The RedHawks have hit a home run in 23 of 26 games. Oklahoma City now has 30 homers this season and is tied with Round Rock for most in the PCL, and is also tied for the second-most by a team in the Minors (Stockton - 37). The RedHawks held the Express without a home run for a second consecutive night after surrendering six home runs in the two games prior to this series. Their 25 homers allowed are tied for second-most in the league (Omaha - 26).

Quick and Painless: Tuesday's game lasted 2 hours and 7 minutes, making it the shortest nine-inning game for the RedHawks since defeating the Express, 1-0, on Sept. 3, 2012 in 2 hours and 2 minutes.
