Minnesota Swarm Named Best Arena Experience in NLL

SAINT PAUL, Minn.- The National Lacrosse League's (NLL) Minnesota Swarm are proud to announce that StadiumJourney.com and Stadium Journey Magazine have ranked The Hive as the Best Arena Experience in the NLL for the second consecutive year, in an article posted on April 21. Minnesota plays all nine of their home games at Xcel Energy Center in downtown Saint Paul from late December to April each year.

According to the article written by Jim Flannery, which can be found here, the Swarm "continue to provide the best overall product in the league - fantastic atmosphere with great fans in an excellent, easy to access neighborhood," while going on to add that a Swarm game is the best value in professional lacrosse.

"We have strived to make Minnesota Swarm games an experience that is unique and memorable," said Swarm Co-Owner and President Andy Arlotta. The Swarm are additionally the only NLL franchise represented on the "Best of Other Great Venues" list on their "2013 list of best stadium experiences in the U.S. and Canada." Stadium Journey's official review of the Swarm gives The Hive a perfect five-star rating for atmosphere, neighborhood, access and return on investment, finishing with an overall rating of 4.3 out of 5. Stadium Journey is a renowned publication that visits and reviews sports venues from across the world. To date they have evaluated 1,814 different venues in 39 different countries. In compiling their rankings of NLL Arena Experience Rankings, they "[Evaluated] the stadium experience by looking at the food and beverages available at the facility, as well as the overall atmosphere, the neighborhood, the fans, access, return on investment and any extra features the stadium has to offer."
