Major League Lacrosse Unveils New Uniforms

April 22, 2014 - Major League Lacrosse (MLL) News Release

BOSTON (April 22, 2014)- Major League Lacrosse, the premier professional outdoor lacrosse league, unveiled two new uniform designs debuting for the 2014 season. The Florida Launch, MLL's newest team, and the 2013 MLL Champion Chesapeake Bayhawks will be the first MLL teams to embark on unique looks for each club.

Each year, the League will select two teams who will receive new unique uniform designs in an effort to keep the teams looking fresh and dynamic.

The defending MLL Champion Bayhawks were instrumental in the design of their new look. Keeping in theme with the team's moniker, the jerseys will feature feather treatment across the shoulders which displays the powerful and swift look the team shows on the field every game. Along with keeping their traditional and classic navy-silver-white colors, the team has incorporated a series of green accents to add to a more dynamic and fun look. Exciting new Bayhawks team merchandise will also incorporate these accents.

MLL's first team in Florida, the Launch, will hit the field for their first season wearing a bright and explosive look featuring the team's primary color yellow with sharp cobalt accents. The energized look is consistent with the team's fast, sleek and electric play on the field.

Fans will have a chance to see these new uniforms as both teams open their 2014 campaigns this weekend. The Florida Launch will open at home hosting the Denver Outlaws on Saturday, April 26 at 7 p.m., while the Bayhawks travel to Boston to face the Cannons on Sunday, April 27 at 1 p.m. Fans can catch both games exclusively on Youtube.com/MLL .
