Terry Burns Helps Bring Pro Indoor Football to Nashville

April 22, 2014 - Professional Indoor Football League (PIFL)
Nashville Venom News Release

NASHVILLE, TN - Not since 2007 has Nashville played host to a professional indoor football team, but Local Allstate agent and community leader Terry Burns is proud to announce that he is the local owner of the new Nashville Venom.

The Venom will be the eighth and final team of the Professional Indoor Football League for the 2012 season, and will call Nashville's Municipal Auditorium home.

"Nashville has had a good history of having arena football with the Kats," says Burns. "History says that Nashville supports it. It's good football, it's lots of fun and we promise if you come out, you'll really like it."

The so far undefeated Venom are coached by Billy Back who was, most recently, with the Cincinnati Commandos of the UIFL. With Back as head coach, the Commandos won three indoor championships.

With season tickets going on average for as low as $60 around the PIFL, the Venom will continue the league's dedication of providing fan-friendly and affordable entertainment.

Terry Burns is Owner/CEO of Burns Insurance Group, an Allstate exclusive agency with locations in Mount Juliet, Nashville, and Franklin. The Burns Insurance Group was recently awarded with the prestigious Premier Agency distinction, one of only a few in the area to be honored.
