F Connor Brickley Agrees to Entry-Level Contract with Florida

SUNRISE, Fla. - Florida Panthers Executive Vice-President and General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has agreed to an entry-level contract with F Connor Brickley.

"We are pleased to have reached a contract agreement with Connor," said Tallon. "He is a hard-working, young player who had the opportunity to compete at the professional level this season. We look forward to his continued development within our organization."

Brickley, 22, played in eight games for the San Antonio Rampage (AHL) this season, recording two points (1-1-2). The 6-foot-1, 200-pound forward made his professional debut with San Antonio on April 1, registering an assist in his first game. Brickley registered his first professional goal on April 5 in a 3-0 victory over Lake Erie.

The Everett, MA native also played in 35 games for the University of Vermont this season, recording 15 points (5-10-15). During his career at the University of Vermont, Brickley played in 117 games, recording 48 points (21-27-48).

Brickley was drafted by Florida in the second round (50th overall) in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
