The Week That Was...

The South Carolina Stingrays kicked off the 2014 Kelly Cup Playoffs and the #RaysfortheCup last week with Game 1 and 2 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals against the Wheeling Nailers at the North Charleston Coliseum Friday and Saturday evening.

In Game 1, goaltender Mike Condon made 23 saves for his first professional postseason shutout to propel the Nailers to a 3-0 victory. Nailers forward Chaz Johnson evened the contest on the man advantage in the third period and forward Tom Kuhnhackl netted the game-winning tally 9:53 into overtime to give the Nailers a 2-0 series lead.
