Falcons To Meet Providence Bruins In Postseason's Opening Round

Springfield, Mass. - The Springfield Falcons announced Saturday that the team will meet the Providence Bruins in the opening round of the 2014 American Hockey League Calder Cup Playoffs, with the first game of the series set for Wednesday, April 23 at 7:05 p.m. at the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence.
The complete series schedule is as follows:
Game #1: Wednesday, April 23, 7:05 p.m. - Dunkin' Donuts Center (Providence, RI)
Game: #2: Friday, April 25, 7:00 p.m. - MassMutual Center (Springfield, MA)
Game #3: Saturday, April 26, 7:00 p.m. - MassMutual Center (Springfield, MA)
Game #4: Tuesday, April 29, 7:05 p.m. - Dunkin' Donuts Center (Providence, RI) *
Game #5: Saturday, May 3, 7:00 p.m. - MassMutual Center (Springfield, MA) *

The Falcons hold home-ice advantage in the best-of-five series, hosting three of the five potential games at the MassMutual Center in downtown Springfield. The team has two guaranteed home dates in the opening round - Friday, April 25 and Saturday, April 26 at 7:00 p.m.
