Today's Game: The RedHawks close a four-game series in Colorado Springs at 7:35 p.m. central time at Security Service Field. Oklahoma City leads the series, 2-1.

Last Game: After scoring one run through the first nine innings, Colorado Springs scored runs in the 10th and 11th innings to defeat the RedHawks, 3-2, Thursday night. Tied 1-1 after nine innings, Ronny Torreyes led off the 10th with a pinch-hit triple for OKC, and two batters later, Gregorio Petit hit a sac fly to right field to give the RedHawks their first lead of the game. In the bottom of the inning, Kyle Parker led off with a double to right-center field on a fly ball just out of the reach of Austin Wates. After Darin Downs retired the next two hitters, Rafael Ynoa stepped up and lined the first pitch from Downs (0-1) into center field for a game-tying RBI single. Manny Corpas (1-1) held the RedHawks scoreless in the top of the 11th. Jason Pridie then led off the bottom of the inning with a double. With Pridie at third and one out, Matt McBride hit a fly ball to right-center field. Enrique Hernandez made the catch, but his throw home was not in time as Pridie scored the game-winning run.

Today's Probable Pitchers: Bobby Doran makes his second start and third appearance of the season for OKC...In his most recent outing Monday against New Orleans in OKC, he allowed six runs on four hits over 3.1 innings. Against the Sky Sox: 2014: 2-1 2013: 4-0 All-time: 70-49 At COL: 28-31

The RedHawks have won nine of their last 11 games against Colorado Springs and had a six-game winning streak snapped last night...Today marks the fourth of 16 games this season between the new division opponents. Prior to 2014, the Sky Sox and RedHawks played just four times per season since 2005...The RedHawks swept the Sky Sox in Bricktown Aug. 3-6, 2013. The sweep was part of a club-record 17-game home winning streak. Oklahoma City outscored Colorado Springs, 41-12, during the four-game set. The RedHawks tied a club record for most runs scored in a game when they defeated the Sky Sox, 24-5, Aug. 3...OKC last played in Colorado Springs May 21-24, 2012, winning three of four...They'll next meet May 10-13 in Bricktown.

Stopped at Seven: Thursday's loss snapped a seven-game road winning streak for the RedHawks, which had tied the previous club record. The only other time they won seven straight away from OKC was May 28-June 3, 2005 (3 at Memphis, 4 at Iowa). They are 8-3 on the road so far this season and are the only team in all of the Minors with eight road wins. Only the Los Angeles Dodgers (8-3) have as many road wins in professional baseball.

Heavy Wates: Austin Wates stole three bases Thursday to bring his PCL-leading total to eight. It's the second time this season he's stolen three bases in one game (April 7 at New Orleans). Wates is hitting .339 and is tied with Jon Singleton for the team lead in hits (19). He also ranks tied for second in the league with 11 walks this season.

Dinger Details: Thursday ended a stretch of 12 straight games in which the RedHawks hit a home run. It was the longest for an Oklahoma City team since a 14-game streak April 14-28, 2005. Last season they never hit a home run in more than four straight.

Several Streaks Snapped: Max Stassi (career-best 12 games), Domingo Santana (eight games), and Jon Singleton (seven games) each had their hitting streaks snapped in Thursday's loss. The 3-4-5 hitters combined to go 0-for-15.

Pitching Prowess: After allowing six runs in the third inning of Wednesday's game, the RedHawks pitching staff has withstood the challenge of pitching in Colorado Springs. Over the last 17 innings, they've held the Sky Sox to three runs and eight hits with 14 strikeouts and zero walks. Tandem starters Collin McHugh and Nick Tropeano combined to retire 18 straight hitters at one point last night.

Robbie's Return: Outfielder Robbie Grossman will join the RedHawks today after the Astros optioned him to OKC two days ago. He got off to a slow start with Houston, going 6-for-48 (.125) with two homers and six RBI. Last season in 70 games with the RedHawks he hit .281 with two homers, 20 RBI, and 15 stolen bases with an impressive .396 on-base percentage.
