Sam Klassen Returns to Road Warriors for Game One

Greenville, SC: Today the Greenville Road Warriors, proud ECHL affiliate of the New York Rangers, announced the Portland Pirates have returned defenseman Sam Klassen from loan.
Klassen returns to Greenville where he played 42 games this season amassing ten points and a +5 rating. The 25-year-old defenseman was loaned to Portland on March 8th and skated in 14 games with the Pirates. His AHL stints this season also include a nine-game stay with the Hartford Wolf Pack. The Watrous, Saskatchewan native is expected in the line-up for Game One against the Kalamazoo Wings tonight at 7:30 p.m. The game can be heard live by clicking on the listen live link on the Road Warriors homepage or by watching via America One.
Single game tickets to the first round of the 2014 ECHL Playoffs are on sale now. The Road Warriors will take on the Kalamazoo Wings at home on Wednesday, April 23th, Friday, April 25th and if necessary, the series versus the Wings will continue at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena on Saturday April 26th.
