Series Notes:

-The series win for the Sundogs over the Mavericks was their first since winning the CHL title in 2008 and it marked the first time an eight seed knocked off the top seed in the playoffs.

-Arizona has won four out of the last five head-to-head meetings against Denver and went 7-4 in the 11 contests.

-Arizona defenseman Matt McCready had two game winners against Denver in the regular season including one OT winner.

-Andrew Engelage won six of the eight starts he had against the Cutthroats this season with a 2.34 GAA and a .931 save percentage.

-Denver forward Troy Schwab had points in all six games the Cutthroats have played this season totaling five goals with four assists over that stretch.

-Garett Bembridge (DEN) and Kevin Baker (ARZ) were tied for the league lead during the regular season with nine game winning goals and in the post-season Bembridge has scored a pair of GWG's and Baker netted the winner in the Sundogs deciding Game 6 in Missouri.

Series Notes:

-The teams split four games in the regular season with each team winning on the other's home ice.

-Both clubs used special teams in the regular season with the Flock going 5 for 25 (20%) and Allen going 4 for 19 (21%),

-Allen's Greger Hanson leads all skaters with three game winning goals in the post-season and in his 19 all-time CHL post-season games, has scored five GWG's.

-Allen d-men Daniel Tetrault and Tyler Ludwig are tied for the highest plus/minus among blue liners with a +6 each.

-After being held scoreless in the first two games of the post-season, Quad City's Thomas Frazee has points in five straight games accumulating four goals with four assists over that stretch while posting a +5 plus/minus rating.

-Thomas Heemskerk (QDC) and Bryan Pitton (ALN) are carrying the top two GAA's in the post-season with Heemskerk sitting with a 1.76 GAA and Pitton boasting an impressive 2.01 GAA.
