San Jose Giants Homestand Preview: April 21 - April 27

San Jose Giants News Release


San Jose, CA- The San Jose Giants return home for a seven game homestand beginning Monday, April 21. The team will take on the Visalia Rawhide for four games before the Bakersfield Blaze visit Municipal Stadium for a three game series. Fans should visit local businesses, stores and Orchard Supply Hardware locations for complimentary tickets to the games Monday through Thursday. Fans can visit sjgiants.com for a list of participating locations. Wednesday, April 23 will be Mustache Night at Municipal Stadium. All fans showing off their facial hair or wearing mustache-inspired gear will receive two free future game tickets. On Thursday, April 17 the team will host its annual Homecoming Night with opportunities to win memorabilia from former San Jose Giants now playing in San Francisco. The team will also have a pregame homecoming parade and all fans who come dressed like it's their high school's Homecoming Night will receive two future game tickets. The organization will then host its second Postgame Fireworks Extravaganza of the season on Friday, April 21, presented by Blossom Valley Pony Baseball.

Promotions and Special Events:

Merchant Night: Fans should be on the lookout at local businesses and stores for complimentary tickets to the 7:00 PM games on Monday, April 21 and Wednesday, April 23 against the Visalia Rawhide.

OSH Merchant Night: Fans can pick up complimentary admission tickets to the game on Tuesday, April 22 and Thursday, April 24 at their local, participating OSH stores one week prior to the game. Tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis, while quantities last. Visit sjgiants.com for a list of participating locations.

Tech Tuesday: April 22 will be another Tech Tuesday at the ballpark! Show your employee ID from any Silicon Valley Tech Company at the Municipal Stadium Box Office and receive a Buy One Get One Free General Admission or Upper Reserved ticket offer.

Mustache Night: Mustache Night returns to Municipal Stadium on Wednesday, April 23. All fans showing off their facial hair or wearing mustache-inspired gear will receive two free future game tickets.

Homecoming Night: The fifth annual Homecoming Night at Municipal Stadium will be a celebration of former San Jose Giants that have reached the Major Leagues as San Francisco Giants. Festivities will include a homecoming parade around the warning track and opportunities to win memorabilia from former San Jose Giants now playing in San Francisco. Come dressed like it's your high school's Homecoming Night and receive two future game tickets. Throwback the clock and wear your class rings, letterman's jackets and homecoming dresses.

High School Baseball Night: Several local high school baseball teams will be in attendance on Thursday for Homecoming Night as we celebrate the traditions and legacies of baseball in San Jose. To bring your high school team out to the ballpark please call (408) 380-4511.

After the clinic, participants will watch the instructors put their words into action as the Giants take the field against the Bakersfield Blaze.
