Royals Place Lorenzo Cain on 15-Day D.L., Recall LHP Justin Marks

KANSAS CITY, MO (April 17, 2014) - The Kansas City Royals announced today that they have placed outfielder Lorenzo Cain on the 15-day disabled list with a left groin strain. Left-handed pitcher Justin Marks has been recalled from Triple-A Omaha to take Cain's place on the 25-man roster. Marks will be in uniform for tonight's 7:10 game against the Houston Astros.
Marks was 1-1 with a 3.24 ERA in three appearances (one start) for the Storm Chasers this season.
