Indiana Ice News Release
INDIANAPOLIS - The Indiana Ice continue the hunt for their second Clark Cup Championship tonight and Friday as they battle the Green Bay Gamblers in games three and four from the Resch Center. The puck is set to drop at 8:05 pm for both contests.
The best-of-five series is tied at 1-1 after Indy split a pair of home games with Green Bay last weekend from Pan Am Pavilion. Patrick Newell potted two goals while Hayden Stewart pitched his fifth career shutout with the Ice as the squad blanked the Gamblers in Friday's 2-0 victory. Sam Kurker recorded four points (G, 3A) while Matt Roy (2G), Mike Preston (2A) and Jacob Pritchard (2A) all logged multiple-point nights as Indy's third-period comeback attempt fell short in Saturday's 6-5 loss to the visitors.
Indy was successful in both regular-season visits to the Resch Center in mid March. Brian Pinho piled up four assists in the first of two back-to-back contests while Jacob Pritchard (2G), Aidan Muir (2A) added multiple points in the 5-2 victorys. Jason Pawloski starred in the follow-up match with a 32-save performance against the Gamblers. Alex Talcott and Dwyer Tschantz provided the lamplighters in the 2-0 road win.
If necessary, game five of the Eastern Conference semifinals would return to Pan Am Pavilion on Monday, April 21 at 7:05 pm. Eastern Conference finals action would begin the following Friday (4/25) with the matchup yet to be determined.
Tickets for the Clark Cup playoffs, presented by Ivy Tech, remain the same at $15 for reserved seating and $10 for standing room only and can be purchased on Ticketmaster or through the Indiana Ice office at (317) 925-4423.
