Northwest Arkansas Naturals News Release
SPRINGDALE, AR - The Northwest Arkansas Naturals are excited to announce that they will once again be partnering with Rover Oaks Grooming on two (2) Bark in the Ballpark events during the 2014 season. The first Bark in the Ballpark event will take place on Sunday, May 4th in conjunction with our Kids Eat FREE Family Sunday. On that Sunday, gates will open at 1pm with first pitch between the Naturals and the Arkansas Travelers scheduled for 2:05pm.
Bark in the Ballpark gives fans the opportunity to attend a game with their dogs for no additional charge. Dogs will be admitted FREE of charge with a paid owner to Sunday's game against the Arkansas Travelers, the Naturals' in-state and North Division Rivals. We will also have contests for select dogs to participate during the game where winners will receive great prizes from Rover Oaks Grooming and the Naturals. This will mark the second consecutive year that the Naturals have hosted two (2) Bark in the Ballpark events with the second event scheduled for Sunday, August 10th at 6:05pm.
Both events coincide with our Kids Eat FREE Family Sunday so kids 12 and under will eat for FREE courtesy of Tyson Foods, Coca-Cola and Mrs. Baird's and ALL kids will get to run the bases post-game. Ticket prices are the same as any other game as they start as low as $7 with the most expensive ticket being $12, when purchased in advance of the event. Ticket prices do go up $1 on the day of the game. Individual tickets for both Bark in the Ballpark events are currently available and can be purchased at the Arvest Ballpark Box Office, online at www.nwanaturals.com, or by calling (479) 927-4900.
