CHATTANOOGA, TN - Andrew Heaney helped the Jacksonville Suns (4-8) overcome leaving 14 men on base as Jacksonville blanked the Chattanooga Lookouts (4-8) by a 4-0 score Tuesday night from AT&T Field.

After a brilliant first road outing of 2014, Heaney (W, 2-0) was just as tough, if not tougher Tuesday night, throwing six brilliant innings of scoreless ball, while striking out five Lookouts. The only hit Heaney allowed Tuesday night would be to Ozzie Martinez, the second batter he'd face in the ballgame.

Grant Dayton struck out four batters in two excellent innings of scoreless relief, with James Nygren finishing off the game for Jacksonville in a non-save situation.

Jacksonville grabbed an early 1-0 lead in the top of the second inning thanks to a Ryan Fisher RBI single.

Heaney helped his own cause in the top of the sixth inning, bringing home Alex Burg on a bunt to double the Suns' advantage. Jacksonville added a run in both the seventh and eighth innings to finish the scoring.

However, the Suns would leave a season-high 14 men on base, going four-for-18 with runners in scoring position Tuesday night.

Tyson Brummett (L, 0-1) took the loss Tuesday after allowing one run on six hits in five innings, while walking a pair of Suns and finishing with six strikeouts.

The Suns and Lookouts will be back at it Wednesday morning with first pitch scheduled for 11:15 a.m. ET from AT&T Field. Jacksonville will toss out right-hander Angel Sanchez (0-2, 5.00) and he'll be countered by the lefty Chris Reed (0-1, 1.54) for Chattanooga.

Suns fans can listen to Wednesday game on the Suns Baseball Network, 94.1 WSOS-FM or throughwww.jaxsuns.com, MiLB.com or the Suns iPhone or Android app, beginning at 11:00 a.m. ET for the Memorial Hospital Suns Pregame Show.
