Trenton Freedom News Release

TRENTON, N.J. - Remember the 1980s, with teased hair, Dynasty and "Who Shot J.R. Ewing?'' and The Electric Slide?

The Trenton Freedom (1-1) are turning the clock back at 7 p..m. Saturday (April 19), battling the Columbus (Ga.) Lions. On tap are contests for fans attending in the most imaginative 1980s dress and other 80s themes, and a postgame concert by Jack Russell's Great White, featuring their 1989 hit "Once Bitten, Twice Shy.''

It all adds to a fun evening that will have the Sun National Bank Center rocking to both football and live music.

The Freedom, in their inaugural Professional Indoor Football League season under head coach Kevin O'Hanlon and staff, earned an opening 52-17 win over the Richmond Raiders before dropping a tough 48-47 decision at the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks. The Freedom had a bye last week.

In addition, the Easel Animal Rescue League is hosting a "Touchdown and Tails'' event at Saturday's game, featuring dogs and cats on the arena concourse available for adoption.

Tickets for all remaining Freedom home games including Saturday's contest, Harrisburg (May 11), Lehigh Valley (May 24) and Georgia (June 21) are available by going to http://www.trentonfreedom.com/tickets.html.

Both partial-season and single-game tickets are also available by calling 800-521-FREE (3733) or through www.trentonfreedom.com. Discounts for groups are also available.
