ELMA, N.Y. (Tuesday, April 15, 2014) - The Western New York Flash has announced today that it has waived midfielder Kristen Meier.
"I want to thank Kristen for all of the hard work she has put in with the Flash," said Flash general manager and head coach Aaran Lines. "I wish her nothing but success in the future."
Meier was signed by the Flash after playing for Seattle Reign FC during the 2013 season. The Syracuse native did not play in Western New York's season opener in Washington, but saw time in all three preseason contests, scoring a goal against Colgate on April 5.
