The Wolf Pack (35-32-1-6, 77 pts.) ensured themselves of finishing above .500 for a 17th straight season this past week, and stretched a win streak to a season-high seven straight before falling 6-2 to the St. John's IceCaps Sunday, in the Pack's last road game of the year. Prior to that the Wolf Pack defeated the Worcester Sharks 2-1 in Worcester Wednesday, and registered their most lopsided victory of the year Saturday in St. John's, scoring a season-high seven goals in a 7-2 win. David LeNeveu stopped 66 of 69 shots in the first two games of the week, and Danny Kristo and J.T. Miller had 2-2-4 apiece in the two games in St. John's.

This week:

The Wolf Pack finish their 17th season of AHL play with a pair of home games this weekend. The Springfield Falcons invade the XL Center on Friday night for a 7:00 PM game, and then the Bridgeport Sound Tigers help the Wolf Pack close out 2013-14 on "Fan Appreciation Night" Saturday, also a 7:00 faceoff.

Friday, April 18 vs. the Springfield Falcons at the XL Center, 7:00 PM

- This is the last opportunity of the season for fans to enjoy $1 hot dogs and $2 beers at the XL Center through the start of the second period, presented by Marc's Appliance Warehouse, located at 75 Prospect Ave., Hartford, CT.

- "Hawk's Nest" returns to the XL Center's Comcast Coliseum Club for this game, with Bob "Hawk" Crawford, the play-by-play voice of the Wolf Pack, conducting a Wolf Pack-themed interview from 6:00-6:20 PM. Questions and comments will be welcomed from the patrons enjoying the Comcast Coliseum Club's wide array of dining and beverage options. The Comcast Coliseum Club restaurant and bar area is open two hours prior to every Wolf Pack home game, to everyone holding a ticket to the game.

- The Wolf Pack have won four of their last five meetings with the Falcons, after going 0-4-0-2 in the first six. The Pack is 2-2-0-1 in four previous home games against Springfield.

- Springfield is 47-21-1-5 for 100 points, which ties a franchise record, and has clinched the Northeast Division title and second place in the Eastern Conference. The Falcons have won three straight and eight of their last nine.

- Goaltender Anton Forsberg is 3-0-0 since joining the Falcons from Modo of the Swedish Hockey League March 20, with a 1.34 goals-against average and a 95.2% save percentage.

- This is the Wolf Pack's "Fan Appreciation Night", featuring numerous terrific prizes, such as New York Ranger and Wolf Pack autographed items, a 32-inch HD TV, a tailgating Weber grill and Rita's Italian Ice, with winners selected at random, and great concession specials. - Justin Hickman's first pro goal was Bridgeport's only score in a 2-1 home loss to Springfield on Sunday.

- Bridgeport is 0-9-0-2 in its last 11 games and 1-14-1-2 in its last 18, and enters the last week of the season 27-38-2-6 for 62 points.
