Omaha Storm Chasers News Release
OMAHA, Neb. - The Omaha Storm Chasers are excited to announce their participation in the brand-new "MiLB Inside-The-Park" mobile application which will enhance the interactive fan experience at Werner Park. The app is free to download and is available in both the iTunes App Store and the Google Play Store.
"The 'Inside-The-Park' app is by far the most interactive app we have ever been a part of, and is huge in our continuing goal to constantly upgrade the fan experience at Werner Park," said Martie Cordaro, President and General Manager of the Storm Chasers. "Fans will be more in tune with the contests and events going on during a certain game, as well as our planned promotions throughout the 2014 season. We now have a way to directly communicate with so many of our fans that want this kind of information on a daily basis."
The new app has been built specifically for Minor League Baseball and will provide Storm Chasers fans with an inning-by-inning rundown of what is happening at Werner Park on a given night. Users can sign up for the opportunity to compete during in-game contests, redeem coupons and also vote on events such as the brand new "Diamond Derby" presented by Omaha Steaks. Fans can also check out upcoming promotions and buy tickets to any game during the 2014 season straight from their phone with this new app.
"Inside-The-Park" also creates an interactive ballpark experience for every fan in attendance at Werner Park through the Social Media component. Fans can post pictures to Instagram, join the conversation on Twitter and post to FaceBook directly from the app, which will all appear in one place on the game feed. Any of these posts have the chance to be reposted to one of the Storm Chasers Social Media outlets.
Fans can download this exciting app by searching "MiLB Inside-The-Park" on either the iTunes App Store or the Google Play Store. Once downloaded, select the Omaha Storm Chasers as the team and be ready for when the team returns tomorrow, April 15 for their second homestand of the 2014 season!
