Ted Currle Named Nashua Silver Knights Manager

Nashua, NH - The Nashua Silver Knights are excited to announce they have hired Ted Currle as the new manager for the 2014 Futures Collegiate Baseball League season set to begin on June 4th in Old Orchard Beach, ME.

The Norton, MA native, Currle is entering his fourth season in the FCBL. Currle started his FCBL career with the Martha's Vineyard Sharks during the league's inaugural season in 2011. He then spent the next two seasons as the associate head coach for the Brockton Rox.

Currle is currently the Athletic Director at Norton High School as well as the head baseball coach and head football coach. The Norton High baseball team won the Massachusetts Division 3 State Championship in 2010 under the direction of Currle.

Before starting his coaching career, Currle played Division 1 Collegiate Baseball at The George Washington University in Washington, DC from 1995-1999.

"Ted's great track record in summer collegiate baseball has warranted his hiring." said Silver Knights General Manager Ronnie Wallace. "We feel confident he will help lead the Silver Knights back to their championship ways this summer."

The Silver Knights home opener will take place on Friday, June 6th at 7 p.m. at Historic Holman Stadium. They will take on Martha's Vineyard who beat the Silver Knights in last year's FCBL Championship Series.
