Express Survive the Island

(CHARLOTTETOWN, PEI) Stefan Bonneau's 39 points carried the Windsor Express to a 113-111 win over the Island Storm on Saturday night.

The win extends the NBL Finals to a Game 6 on Tuesday, April 15th in Windsor at the WFCU Centre and tightens the Storm's lead in the series to 3-2.

Quinnel Brown's double-double of 16 points and 12 rebounds assisted Bonneau's dominant performance.

Windsor jumped out to a 24-20 lead after the first quarter and expanded it 57-45 at halftime.

Another strong third quarter had the Express in the driver's seat, up 85-66 heading into the final frame.

The Storm nearly came back for a second straight night, scoring 45 points, but could not stop Windsor at the end.

Tickets for Game 6 are available at the TekSavvy Box Office in the WFCU Centre or by phone at 1-866-969-WFCU, starting tomorrow at 12:00pm.

The box office is also open Monday, from 10:00am-6:00pm.

The Express flight returns to Windsor at 10:25pm tomorrow night, Sunday, April 13th.
