April 12, 2014 - Pacific Coast League (PCL1)
Salt Lake Bees News Release

Nate Freiman belted a grand slam in the eighth inning to give the Sacramento River Cats a 7-6 come from behind win over the Salt Lake Bees on Friday night. The Bees led 6-3, but Sacramento loaded the bases with no outs, as Buddy Boshers issued two walks and surrendered a single. Rob Carson (0-1) came out of the bullpen and got Kent Matthes to fly out before Freiman drilled a 1-0 pitch over the left field wall to put the River Cats in front. Salt Lake had scored twice in the top of the eight to take a three run lead on an RBI triple by Taylor Lindsey and a sacrifice fly by Tommy Field.

Bees' starter Wade LeBlanc allowed just two runs on six hits in five innings with five strikeouts and three walks. Grant Green extended his season opening hitting streak to nine games with two hits and two runs batted in. C.J. Cron also stretched his streak to nine games with a fifth inning double. Taylor Lindsey chipped in with two hits, a double and a triple and one RBI, as the Bees drop their third consecutive game.
