Central Hockey League Announces Suspension
April 12, 2014 - Central Hockey League (CHL) News Release
GLENDALE, AZ (April 12, 2014) - The Central Hockey League (CHL) announced today that Missouri Mavericks forward Sebastien Thinel has been suspended for one (1) game and as a result will miss Saturday's game in Arizona versus the Sundogs.
Thinel suspension comes from making contact with an opponent's head with his stick in the third period of last night's game, a 3-1 Missouri win, and stems from a request for review (no penalty was called on the play).
The Mavericks, as per league policy, will have to play a man short while the player is suspended.
