Americans Look to Go up 3-0 in the Series with Brampton

Brampton, Ontario - The Allen Americans and Brampton Beast resume their series tonight in southern Ontario, with the defending Presidents' Cup Champions looking to go up 3-0 in the series. Puck drop tonight at Powerade Center is 7:00 pm .

The Americans have outscored the Brampton Beast 12-5 in two games, with Darryl Bootland and Tyler Ludwig leading the way. Bootland has three goals in two games, and Tyler Ludwig has two power play goals and is tied for the post-season lead in points, with five.

"This has been a tough series despite being up 2-0," said Americans forward, Johnathan Lessard. "They have some big time scorers on their side and so far we have been able to keep them in check. Tonight is a critical game in the series."

The Beast swept Rapid City in their final three regular season home games, so expect a different team tonight in front of the home faithful.

Game 4 and 5 (if necessary) will also be played in Brampton. Games 6 and 7 (if necessary), would return to Allen Event Center next Wednesday and Thursday nights at 7:05 pm . This is the first ever meeting between the two teams in the post-season. Allen was 1-2-0 at Powerade Center during the regular season.
