"Dagger for Mayor" Fundraising Buttons and Shirts Available Now

(Peterborough, ON, April 9th, 2014)- The Peterborough Petes are extremely excited to announce that DOSS Copy Centre and Extra 90.5fm - the "Voice of the Petes" - will be selling the popular "Dagger for Mayor" t-shirts and buttons, with all funds raised supporting Andrew D'Agostini's fundraising campaign for the Great Strides Walk to cure Cystic Fibrosis.
The fundraising t-shirts and buttons will be available for sale at the Extra 90.5fm booth located inside the Peterborough Memorial Centre in the Club Lounge between 6pm and the end of the game between the Petes and Generals on Thursday, April 10th. Fans are also encouraged to visit DOSS Copy Centre at 655 The Queensway, Units 1 & 2 to purchase buttons or t-shirts.
A very limited number of "Dagger for Mayor" t-shirts will be available for $25 each, and buttons will be available for $1 each. Each t-shirt has been autographed by Andrew D'Agostini, with all proceeds helping D'Agostini meet his $10,000 fundraising goal for the Great Strides Walk on May 25, 2014 at Nicholls Oval. Cystic fibrosis (CF), which affects the lungs and the digestive system, is the most common fatal genetic (or inherited) disease affecting Canadian children and young adults. All money raised through pledges and donations are in support of Cystic Fibrosis Canada in its mission to find a cure or an effective control for cystic fibrosis. Your support will enable us to provide the highest standard of CF research, care and advocacy to those who fight this deadly disease and their families.
