Blue Bombers Sign Two Canadians to Roster

WINNIPEG, MB., April 9, 2014 - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers announce today the club has signed non-import offensive lineman Eric Armitage and non-import defensive back Kevin Prempeh.

Armitage (6-4, 308) was drafted in the seventh round, 56th overall by the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the 2013 CFL Draft. Originally from London, Ontario, Armitage attended training camp with Saskatchewan but was released prior to the start of the season. He played university football at Western-Ontario, and played in seven games in 2012, his third and final season with the Mustangs.

Prempeh (6-3, 205) played his college football at the University of Concordia. In 22 total games played, he registered 32 solo tackles, two interceptions and nine pass knockdowns. The Scarborough, Ontario native played three seasons at Concordia, with his best season coming in 2013, when he recorded 13 tackles, one interception and four pass knockdowns, in eight games.
