Harrisburg Senators News Release

Harrisburg, PA - Beginning with the home opener on Thursday, April 10 against the Reading Fightin Phils, one lucky fan each night will walk away a winner of the brand new Community Aid 50/50 raffle. Community Aid will be hosting and running the 50/50 drawing at all home games..

Each game, 50/50 tickets will be sold at a kiosk on the main concourse and members of the 50/50 team will be selling tickets right at your seat. The winning number will be drawn in the 8th inning each game. Winners do not need to be present to win. Winners receive 50% of the pot with the proceeds benefitting Community Aid, a faith Based Non-Profit 501 (C)(3) Charity with the primary purpose of raising funds for distribution to local schools, churches, synagogues, temples and non-profit charitable organizations

"We're blessed to grow our relationship with the Harrisburg Senators," said Glenn Chandler, Executive Director-Community Aid. "As fans ourselves, we can't wait to see that dollar amount climb on the scoreboard throughout the game with the knowledge that those funds will allow us to do even more for our fellow non-profit partners across Central PA. There's no doubt this will be a grand slam for Sens fans too!"

"The 50/50 drawing is going to be a very dynamic piece of our game presentation!," exclaimed Senators' President Kevin Kulp. "I'm as excited about this as I am anything new we're doing this year! We're always looking at ways to create a better and better atmosphere and we think this is going to be something our fans really enjoy. The best part of all is that Community Aid is going to be raising a lot of money that can be used to help so many other non-profits in the area."

Fans can check the real-time gross prize amount on the scoreboard or at the kiosk located on the concourse throughout the game. 50% of the proceeds will be awarded to a lucky winner each game while remaining proceeds benefit Community Aid. The winning number will be posted on the videoboard during the 8th inning. For more information, including full rules and winning numbers, please visit senatorsbaseball.com.
