Five Hounds Listed in NHL Central Scouting Final Ranking

Early Tuesday morning the NHL Central Scouting released it's final rankings in preparation for the 2014 NHL Entry Draft and five members of the Soo Greyhound were among those listed.

JARED MCCANN (10), MICHAEL BUNTING (49), KYLE JENKINS (69) and BRYAN MOORE (195) were among the North American skaters, while BRANDON HALVERSON (6) was listed among North American goaltenders.

"We are excited to see the work of our players on the ice recognized by Dan Marr and his staff at NHL Central Scouting" began Greyhounds GM Kyle Dubas.

"To have five players named to the list is a nice achievement for our organization and our coaching staff who have done a wonderful job developing each of the five men listed" he continued.

The 2014 NHL Entry Draft will be the 52nd NHL Entry Draft, and this year will be held on June 27-28, 2014 at the Wells Fargo Centre in Philadelphia, Pennsylvannia.

"Most importantly, today's final list shows the excellent prospects and potential of Brandon Halverson, Jared McCcann, Michael Bunting, Kyle Jenkins & Bryan Moore" concluded Dubas.

Though not listed Hounds' ALEX GUDBRANSON, JEAN DUPUY and CHARLEY GRAASKAMP are also receiving plenty of attention from NHL scouts in advance of the draft.
