Stingrays Game Preview: Stingrays and Road Warriors Meet Tonight in Final Regular-Season Battle of P

North Charleston, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays close the 16-game regular-season series against the Greenville Road Warriors tonight at 7:00 at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina. The Stingrays hold an 8-5-0-2 record against the Road Warriors this season.

Series at a Glance:

The Road Warriors claimed the last two contests against the Stingrays with most recent coming on Sunday, March 30 in a 2-1 win in Greenville. Forward Peter Boyd leads the Stingrays against the Road Warriors with 16 points (six goals, 10 assists).

The Hot Hands:

Forward Wayne Simpson has three goals and two assists in his last three games and is tied for 19 in the ECHL rookie scoring race with 39 points (21 goals, 18 assists).

South Division Title Watch:

The Stingrays lead the South Division with 88 points with two games, including tonight, remaining in the regular season. The Orlando Solar Bears sit two points back of the Stingrays with three games remaining and the Road Warriors stand in third with 83 points and four games left to play. All three teams have already clinched berths in the Kelly Cup Playoffs.

The Stingrays celebrate Fan Appreciation Night and The Post and Courier Hall of Fame Night on Friday, April 11 against the Elmira Jackals at 7:05 p.m. the North Charleston Coliseum.
