Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release

The IronPigs (2-2) return to Coca-Cola Park for their home opener and play Game One of a three-game series against the first-place Buffalo Bisons (2-0). With a 5-4 win yesterday, the Pigs forced a split of their four-game set at McCoy Stadium. The Pigs have now won eight of their last 12 games in Pawtucket going back to 2013 and are 18-10 overall against the Red Sox dating back to July 1, 2012... Buffalo -- Toronto's top affiliate -- won a 13-inning game last night, 6-5, to sweep a rain-shortened, two-game series in Rochester. Last season, the Herd was 9-7 against the Pigs -- including a 6-2 mark at Coca-Cola Park.

LHP Greg Smith (8-4, 3.31 w/ LHV in '13) will start for LHV against LHP Sean Nolin (8-3, 3.01 in AA in '13).

First-Pitch today is scheduled for 5:05 p.m.
