Charge Matched up with Skyforce for First Round of 2014 NBA

The Canton Charge will match up with the Sioux Falls Skyforce in the first round of the 2014 NBA Development League Playoffs. The Charge will host Game 1 of the best-of-three series on Thursday, April 10 at 7:00 p.m. EST at the Canton Memorial Civic Center. Game 2 will be on Saturday, April 12 at 8:00 p.m. EST at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls. Game 3, if necessary, will also be in Sioux Falls on Monday, April 14 at 8:00 p.m. EST.

[charge_playoffs_shirt]Game 1 at the Civic Center will be a "gold out" and features an exclusive playoff t-shirt giveaway for the first 1,500 fans in attendance. The 2014 Canton Charge Playoffs are presented by Aultman/AultCare, The Repository and FirstEnergy Solutions.

The top overall seed Fort Wayne Mad Ants selected the eighth seed Reno Bighorns first. The second seed Los Angeles D-Fenders then chose the seventh seed Santa Cruz Warriors. The Central Division winning Iowa Energy opted to play the fifth seed Rio Grande Valley Vipers, leaving seventh seed Canton to face the fourth seed Sioux Falls in the final series.

The Canton Charge are exclusively operated by the Cleveland Cavaliers and also owned by a group led by Cavaliers Majority Owner and Quicken Loans Founder and Chairman Dan Gilbert. The group also owns and operates the Lake Erie Monsters of the American Hockey League and the Cleveland Gladiators of the Arena Football League, both playing at Quicken Loans Arena in downtown Cleveland, Ohio.
