Monarchs Road Game Date Changed

MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, will play the Portland Pirates at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee in Lewiston, Maine at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9, Monarchs Director of Hockey Operations Hubie McDonough announced today. The game was originally scheduled for Sunday, April 20.

The Monarchs currently hold a 6-3-0-0 record against the Pirates through nine VIP Cup match-ups this season. The two teams will face-off three more times this season: 3:00 p.m. at the Verizon Wireless Arena on Saturday, April 5; 7:00 p.m. at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee on Wednesday, April 9; and 7:05 p.m. at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee on Friday, April 18.

The Monarchs return to the Verizon Wireless Arena to host the Hartford Wolf Pack at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 4.
