RailCats Announce Single Game Ticket Release Date & 2014 Promotional Schedule

Single game tickets to see the defending American Association champion Gary SouthShore RailCats at the U. S. Steel Yard in 2014 will be available for purchase on Thursday, April 10 at 10:00 am. Tickets can be purchased on-line by visiting www.railcatsbaseball.com, calling 219-882-2255 or in person at the U. S. Steel Yard.
Fans can now see the entire promotional schedule online and plan ahead by purchasing single game tickets starting as low as $5 per ticket!
Opening Day is Thursday, May 22nd vs. 2013 American Association runner-up Wichita Wingnuts at 7:10 pm. The ballgame will be preceded by an on-field championship ring ceremony and the first 1,500 adults will receive a replica RailCats 2013 American Association Championship Ring! In addition, the opener will be followed by a Post-Game Fireworks Extravaganza!
"We could not have asked for a better way to end the 2013 season, with the American Association title," said RailCats general manager Pete Laven. "That only increases our responsibility to keep the momentum going in 2014 and we feel like the stage has been set with fantastic promotions and some unbelievable ticket offers."
The RailCats promotional calendar features eight (8) more Post-game Fireworks Shows every Friday night courtesy of Fifth Third Bank. On Friday, July 4th the RailCats and Fifth Third Bank will also team up for a Patriotic Cap giveaway to first 1,000 adults.
Other great giveaways include Championship T-Shirts (6/7), Greg Tagert Bobble Head Dolls (8/23) and cold, hard cash on Money Giveaway Night (8/1).
The 2014 promotional schedule caters to fans of all ages highlighted by a special Kids Day on Wednesday, May 28th at 11:10 am and Youth and Senior Day on Wednesday, July 16th at 12:10 pm.
The lineup of entertainment acts visiting the U. S. Steel Yard in 2014 is stronger than ever. You will not want to miss the Jesse White Tumblers on June 7th and July 19th, the Amazing Christopher on Michael Jackson Night, June 21st and, yes ... Little Kato and Beautiful Bobby are back!
