Defenseman Madaisky Returns to IceMen

EVANSVILLE, Ind. - The Evansville IceMen announce defenseman Austin Madaisky has been reassigned to the team by the Springfield Falcons, the organization's AHL affiliate Wednesday.
Madaisky, 22, has played in 37 games with the Falcons this season, recording eight points on four goals and four assists. He has collected 10 penalty minutes and a +5 rating in the AHL this year. He partook in six games with Springfield in 2012-13.
The 6'2", 190-pound blue-liner has appeared in three games with the IceMen so far this season. In 2012-13, Madaisky played in 11 games with Evansville, as he amassed six points on two goals and four assists in that time.
From Surry, B.C., Madaisky played his junior career with the Calgary Hitmen (2008-10) and Kamloops Blazers (2009-12), both of the WHL. Collectively, he played in 238 games between the two teams.
The IceMen continue their road trip as they have only five games remaining. Three of those games will be played in succession this weekend, starting with the Cincinnati Cyclones at U.S. Bank Arena Thursday. Puck drops at 6:35 p.m. CDT. Game broadcast can be heard on 'Magic 98.5' FM, 1400 AM WEOA.
