AMARILLO, TX - As the 2014 North American Hockey League playoffs face off this weekend, the Amarillo Bulls are in a position that has never happened in history of hockey in the Texas Panhandle.

It was almost a year ago when the Bulls went on that memorable run en route to the Robertson Cup National Championship and now the defense begins.

The Bulls host the Wichita Falls Wildcats in games one and two of the South Division Semi-Final Series this Friday and Saturday at 7 pm at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center. This is the first time that the Bulls and Cats will meet in the post season as Wichita Falls returns to the playoffs for the first time in three years.

There is no organized tailgating for this weekend. But fans are encouraged to set up their own tail gate in the back parking lot on Johnson Street and they could win a prize.

Friday's game is sponsored by 'Texas The Musical' and there will be pre-game fireworks. The first 1,000 fans receive a playoff rally towel courtesy of Lyons Realty, Atmos Energy and Panhandle Tickets.

On Saturday, the first 500 fans receive a playoff t-shirt courtesy of Seven Grill and Bar.

Fans can still purchase playoff packages starting at $40 for Silver; $52 for Red; $60 for Glass $68 for Pit and Children 12 and Under are 28.

Single game tickets will be available on sale as of tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon with an exact time to be determined. The prices are $13 for Silver Sections; $16 for Red; $19 for Gold; $23 for Pit and children 12 and under are $9.

Playoff packages are only available at the Bulls Office located at 301 South Polk in the Amarillo Building. You can also buy single game tickets through the Bulls Office and also at Panhandle Ticket Outlets including United Supermarkets.
