Mavericks Announce Round 1 Playoff Schedule

INDEPENDENCE, Missouri - The Missouri Mavericks have announced their Round 1playoff schedule against the Arizona Sundogs.

The Mavericks rank first in the league with 90 points after clinching their franchise's first Governors' Cup on Tuesday night with an 8-0 shutout victory over the St. Charles Chill. Missouri swept their 4-game regular season series with the Arizona Sundogs who rank 8th in the Central Hockey League with 69 points.

The Mavericks will play in a best-of-7 series beginning on Friday, March 4th against the Sundogs. Full opening round schedule below including games to be played if needed(*):

Opening Round - Series "A" (best-of-7)

Missouri Mavericks (1) vs. Arizona Sundogs (8)

Game 1 - Fri., Apr. 4 - Arizona at Missouri, 7:05pm CT (Round 1 Game A)

Game 2 - Sun., Apr. 6 - Arizona at Missouri, 6:10pm CT (Round 1 Game B)

Game 3 - Wed., Apr. 9 - Missouri at Arizona, 6:35pm PST (8:35pm CT)

Game 4 - Fri., Apr. 11- Missouri at Arizona, 7:05pm PST (9:05pm CT)

*Game 5 - Sat., Apr. 12 - Missouri at Arizona, 7:05pm PST (9:05pm CT)

*Game 6 - Tue., Apr. 15 - Arizona at Missouri, 7:05pm CT (Round 1 Game C)

*Game 7 - Wed., Apr. 16 - Arizona at Missouri, 7:05pm CT (Round 1 Game D)

A full league schedule for the opening round will be released on Sunday, March 30th following the conclusion of all remaining regular season games.

The Mavericks play their final regular season game on the road against the Quad City Mallards on Sunday, March 30th. Mavericks' playoff tickets for Round 1- Game A and Round 1- Game B are available in person at the Box Office, and online at TicketMaster.com.
