NORFOLK, Va. -- The Norfolk Admirals announced Thursday that forward Charlie Sarault has been reassigned by the Anaheim Ducks to the Utah Grizzlies of the ECHL.
Sarault, 22, heads to Utah having posted 14 points (6g, 8a), 16 penalty minutes, and a minus-5 rating in 43 games played with the Admirals this season. The 5-11, 184-pound center totaled 258 points (61g, 197a) during his five-year career in the Ontario Hockey League (2008-2013) split between the Kingston Frontenacs and the Sarnia Sting. The Ottawa, Ontario native was picked up by Anaheim last year and skated in 11 matches for the Admirals, contributing six assists.
The Admirals continue their homestand on Friday and Saturday as they play host to the top-seeded Manchester Monarchs. Friday's game is American Cancer Society Night and is set for a 7:30 p.m. start time, while Saturday's game begins at 7:15 p.m. Come early on Saturday and watch ODU's hockey team battle Northern Virginia Community College at 2:00 p.m. Free admission with purchase of Admirals game ticket.
Next Home Game & Promotions : The Admirals host East-Division opponent Wilkes-Barre/Scranton for a two-game weekend series this Friday and Saturday at Scope. Friday's game at 7:30 p.m. features an Admirals BB&T Hat Giveaway during Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society Night. Saturday night is Operation Smile Night and Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Night. Game time is set for 7:15 p.m. with a Post Game Skate With The Admirals following the game.
