Garett Bembridge and Troy Schwab Named to All-CHL Team

Denver - The Denver Cutthroats and Central Hockey League announced Garett Bembridge and Troy Schwab members of the All-CHL Team for the 2013-14 season on Monday, March 24.

Forward Garett Bembridge has played 63 games with the Denver Cutthroats tallying 101 points with 40 goals and 61 assists. Bembridge is the Central Hockey League's scoring leader (101 points) and first in the league for goals scored (40), power play goals (16) and shots on goal (343) and second for power play assists (26). He was also nominated first for this season's CHL Best Overall Player, Best on Power Play and Most Valuable to His Team.

Returning forward Troy Schwab has 25 goals and 69 assists for a total of 94 points during his 63 games this season with the Cutthroats. He is second in scoring for the league (94 points) and first in assists (69) and power play assists (29). Troy placed first in the Central Hockey League during the 2013-14 season for Best Stickhandler and third for Best on Power Play.

Both Cutthroats are one of the top five finalists for the CHL's Most Valuable Player Award this season. Forward Ben Gordon (Tulsa Oilers), goaltender Shane Owen (Missouri Mavericks), defensemen Tyler Ludwig (Allen Americans) and Matt Stephenson (Missouri Mavericks) join Garett Bembridge and Troy Schwab on the 2013-14 All-CHL Team.

The Denver Cutthroats will finish the 2013-14 regular season on the road. The Cutthroats will head to Allen, Texas to take on the Americans on Friday, March 28 and Saturday, March 29.
