March 21, 2014 - Eastern League (EL1)
Harrisburg Senators News Release

Harrisburg, PA - With their home opener just twenty days away, today the Harrisburg Senators announced the plans for their annual FanFest. This year the FanFest is on Saturday, April 5 and runs from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. This will be the fans first opportunity to see Metro Bank Park in a baseball ready state this year.

The ballpark will be alive and well on April 5, with fun for the entire family. Tours, an Easter Egg Hunt, the Faulkner Honda Kids Zone, and FREE hot dogs highlight the day. If you've never had a chance to see "behind the scenes" at Metro Bank Park, now is your golden opportunity. With taking a tour, you'll see the lockers that Stephen Strasburg and Bryce Harper used while in Harrisburg.

Your kids will love FanFest this year as they'll have an Easter Egg Hunt, and they'll get to meet and take pictures with the racing Monkeys and Rascal. From 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. we will be holding Play Ball Kid auditions. Any child interested in being a play ball kid at a 2014 home game can see what it's like to say "Play Ball" before a game.

Every fan entering the park will receive a free voucher for a hot dog. Other concession options will be available for purchase as well.

The 2014 home opener is Thursday, April 10, against the Reading Fightin Phils. Box office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tickets are available via telephone during the same hours as the box office hours. Tickets are also available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, online at www.senatorsbaseball.com.
