Bandits to Auction off "Braver Than Brave" Jerseys

BUFFALO, NY (March 20, 2014) --- The Buffalo Bandits today announced that the team will be auctioning off "Braver Than Brave" game jerseys to be worn by Bandits players in the Apr. 5 outing against the Calgary Roughnecks.

Winning bidders will have the opportunity to have the name of a loved one whom is either suffering from or has previously suffered from some form of Lymphoma embroidered into the respective jersey. In turn, a Bandits player will wear each jersey during pregame warm-ups as well as the game's entire first half in honor or remembrance of the individual stitched on the jersey. The winning bidder will also receive the jersey as a keep sake.

The jerseys, which will be part of "Tucker on Lymphoma Night", can be bid upon via Bandits.com beginning Mar. 20 at 5 p.m. The online auction is set to conclude on Thursday, Mar. 27, with bidding for the first jersey closing at 7 p.m., followed by each subsequent jersey's auction ending in five minute intervals afterwards. Second half jerseys are scheduled to be made available for bid at a later date.

*Please note that winning bidders may receive the jersey of a player whom does not play in the Apr. 5 outing due to injury, healthy scratch or being on an inactive roster.*
