Edmonton Regional Combine Adds 5 Players to the National CFL Combine Roster

EDMONTON - The Canadian Football League held its first of three regional combines today in Edmonton, resulting in five players being invited to the CFL Combine presented by Reebok in Toronto this coming weekend.

Players Tore Corrado, Michael Dadzie, Thomas Miles, Kyle Paterson and Dylan Roper were extended an invitation to display their athletic abilities once again in front of CFL scouts, coaches and management at the National CFL Combine in Toronto, March 21-23.

Tore Corrado a wide receiver from Vancouver, BC and attended Simon Fraser University ran the fastest 40-yard dash for eligible draft prospects at the Edmonton Regional Combine with a 4.75.

Michael Dadzie, a defensive lineman from Brampton, ON who attended University of Regina recorded the third most bench presses with 25 reps of 225 lbs.

Thomas Miles, a linebacker from the University of Manitoba and a native of Winnipeg, MB had the second fastest 40-yard time among linebackers with 4.95.

Kyle Paterson, offensive lineman who will join teammate Michael Dadzie from University of Regina in Toronto, for the National CFL Combine. The Weyburn, SK native had the fastest 40-yard time (5.06) than any other offensive lineman at the combine.

Dylan Roper, a defensive lineman who will also join a fellow teammate, Tore Corrado, from Simon Fraser University is a native of North Vancouver, BC, recorded the second most reps in the bench press drill with 26.

Overall, 37 players attended today's combine in Edmonton and each athlete worked out in front of scouts from all CFL Teams. 591e5d2d30a2 Click here to view the roster and results from the Edmonton Regional Combine.

The other regional combines will take place this week in Montreal (March 19) and in Toronto (March 20).

The 2014 CFL Combine presented by Reebok kicks off Friday afternoon with player arrivals, medicals and team interviews. On Saturday the players' strength, athleticism and flexibility will be tested at the Park Hyatt Toronto Hotel. The camp finishes on the football field at Varsity Centre at the University of Toronto campus on Sunday. Stay tuned to CFL.ca for all your CFL Combine results and news.
