Falcons Return Goaltender Clemente to ECHL's IceMen

Springfield, Mass. - The Springfield Falcons announced Monday that the team has returned goaltender Mike Clemente on loan to the ECHL's Evansville IceMen.

Clemente, 24, has appeared in two games with the Falcons this season, earning a 1-0-1 record with a 2.88 goals-against average and .893 save percentage. The Great Falls, Virginia native also played in six games for Springfield during the 2011-12 campaign, going 2-1-0 with a 1.99 goals-against average, .930 save percentage and one shutout.

In 33 games with the IceMen this season, Clemente is 16-13-4 with a 2.58 goals-against average, .911 save percentage and one shutout.

The Falcons return to action Friday, March 21 when they visit the Worcester Sharks at the DCU Center. The team is back at the MassMutual Center Saturday, March 22 to host the Manchester Monarchs at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, March 23 to host the St. John's IceCaps at 3:00 p.m.

Fans are invited to the MassMutual Center in 2013-14 to watch the reigning Northeast Division-champion Falcons compete in their 20th anniversary season. Adult season-ticket packages start as low as $13 per game.
