Giants Fall 6-5 to the Rockets

VANCOUVER, BC - The Vancouver Giants scored 4 goals in the third period in a comeback bid that fell short as the Kelowna Rockets took a 6-5 win over the Giants at the Pacific Coliseum Friday night.
Ty Ronning had two goals for the Giants in their final home game of the regular season.
Payton Lee left just 5 minutes into the game after a run-in in the crease and 16-year old Ryan Kubic stepped in and made 24 saves on 30 shots for Vancouver.
Joel Hamilton had a goal and an assist in the game that saw a crowd of just under 14,000.
Dmitry Osipov and Jackson Houck had the other goals for the Giants.
The Giants went 1-for-4 on the power play and had 34 shots on goal in the game.
Next Game: Saturday March 15 at Kelowna, 7:05pm.
