TULSA, Okla., March 13, 2014 - The Tulsa 66ers defeated the Sioux Falls Skyforce, 109-96, on Thursday night behind Mario Little's 29 points.

Little shot 11-for-17 from the field and 6-for-11 from three-point range and added seven rebounds and three assists. After averaging 3.9 points in the 2012-13 season, Little has improved to 18.5 points per game in 2013-14 and totaled 25 or more points on eight occasions.

Rodney Bartholomew secured his 14th double-double of the season with 17 points and 12 boards. Mustafa Shakur tallied 13 points, 10 assists and four rebounds and Isaiah Wilkerson scored 13 with five rebounds.

Maurice Sutton posted 12 points and nine rebounds off the bench while Scoop Jardine scored 15 points. Dominic McGuire pulled down 12 rebounds in his 66ers debut.

"Before the game I challenged our players to be competitive and take pride one-on-one, not allowing their man to beat us and score," said 66ers Head Coach Darko Rajakovic. "Our guys accepted that tonight and competed out there to get the win."

The 66ers (19-23) began the game with a 9-0 run before Sioux Falls (24-18) fought back to take a 29-28 lead at the quarter's conclusion. Tulsa trailed 38-33 midway through the second before the 66ers defense held the Skyforce to one field goal in the final seven and a half minutes of the second quarter. Tulsa used a 15-2 run late in the frame to take a 59-51 lead to the halftime break.

Tulsa came out of the half shooting 52.2 percent in the third quarter, outscoring Sioux Falls 30-24. Little shot 5-for-6, including 4-for-5 from three-point range, to total 14 points in the quarter. The 66ers held on in the fourth, leading by 13 or more for the remainder of the night.

The 66ers outrebounded Sioux Falls 54-43 and forced 22 Skyforce turnovers. Tulsa held Sioux Falls to seven offensive rebounds and seven second-chance points while the 66ers secured 18 offensive boards for 25 second-chance points.

Sioux Falls was led by Henry Walker with 25 points and eight rebounds.

Tulsa is back in action with a one-game road trip to the greater Dallas area, facing the Texas Legends on Saturday night. The matchup will air live on YouTube at 7 p.m.
