Big Line Lifts Otters Over Spitfires

Connor Brown scored his second goal of the game with less than nine minutes to play, as the Erie Otters took a 3-2 win over the Windsor Spitfires before 5,741 at the WFCU Centre on Thursday night.
Linemates Connor McDavid and Dane Fox assisted on both Brown goals, spoiling a fine 32-save performance by Alex Fotinos.
Andre Burakovsky had the other goal for Erie (50-14-2-0) in its sixth straight win.
Josh Ho-Sang (32) and Ben Johnson (26) had the goals for a Windsor club (36-27-3-0) that lost its fifth in a row.
Brady Vail chipped in a pair of assists, giving the fourth-year centre 50 on the season. Oscar Dansk made 18 saves for his 29th win.
The Spitfires wrap up the regular season portion of their schedule with visits to Kitchener (Friday) and Plymouth (Saturday) upcoming.
