IceDogs Close out Regular Season OHL History at the Jack with Pair of Games

March 12, 2014 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Niagara IceDogs News Release

With just two regular season home games left for the IceDogs in the 2013-14 season, both nights will be very special occasions!

First, tomorrow, Thursday, March 13th, when the IceDogs play host to the Mississauga Steelheads will be the rescheduled St. Catharines Fincups Heritage Night. As part of the night there will be as many as 10 former St. Catharines Fincups in attendance to be recognized during a pregame ceremony and puck drop prior to the game.

In addition, the game is also our second season ticket holder redemption game, so any season ticket holders with unused tickets can bring those by the IceDogs 35 Queen St. office today or tomorrow and exchange them for additional tickets for tomorrow night's game.

After Thursday night, the IceDogs will next return home on Sunday afternoon when they play host to the visiting Peterborough Petes for Fan Appreciation Day, which will also be a historic night with the final regular season OHL game at the Jack. We will be looking to send the Jack off in style before hopefully finishing things off with one last playoff run at the Jack! Game time is scheduled for 2pm.

Tickets for both of these games are still available, but are going quickly, so be sure to get your tickets today and don't miss out on the last two regular season OHL games at the Jack, as we honour the history of the old barn.

In addition to the two home games, the IceDogs 7th Man Convoy is still booking spots for Friday's trip to Mississauga for a key matchup on the road to the playoffs! Six buses have already been filled and we are working on a seventh bus, so contact or visit the IceDogs office today and book your spot for only $15, which includes both your ticket to the game and bus as the IceDogs will be picking up the cost of the bus.

With only three games left in the regular season, the Eastern Conference playoff race is still extremely tight and the IceDogs need all the support they can get from their fans. Be sure to join the IceDogs 7th man convoy for the trip to Mississauga on Friday and don't miss out on a chance to be a part of history as we look to close out OHL regular season history in the Jack 61 years after it all started with these last two special games!
