Still Time to Taste Wine with the Chicago Wolves

March 11, 2014 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Chicago Wolves News Release

There's still room to join the Chicago Wolves for their fifth Wine Tasting Fundraiser on Thursday, March 13, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Harry Caray's in Rosemont.

Wolves fans can sample a variety of delicious wines and appetizers while mingling with several prominent Wolves players. Centers KEITH AUCOIN, ALEXANDER BOLDUC, PAT CANNONE, ADAM CRACKNELL and CHRISTIAN HANSON and goaltender JAKE ALLEN will be part of the festivities along with assistant coaches DAVE ALLISON and SCOTT ALLEN.

Wolves fans in attendance will receive a wine glass and will also have the chance to win raffle prizes and bid on exclusive auction items. The auction list includes the opportunity to enjoy lunch with HANSON and JAKE ALLEN; an ALLEN AHL All-Star jersey, a Darren Haydar burgundy jersey, a CANNONE game-used autographed stick and Wolves-related commemorative wine bottles.

"The Wine Tasting event always has a little something extra to it because it features the veterans of the group," said COURTNEY MAHONEY, the Wolves senior vice president of operations. "To get KEITH AUCOIN and ADAM CRACKNELL out, it should be really fun for the fans to engage with them. This event has been really successful, so we're keeping the heart of it while adding a few extra twists."

Tickets are available for fans at least 21 years of age and can be reserved for a $55 donation by calling 1-800-THE-WOLVES. Proceeds from the event benefit Chicago Wolves Charities, which works with more than a dozen Illinois-based charities. Chicago Wolves Charities has raised more than $4.5 million for local organizations.
