SAINT JOHN - FedEx Express Canada and the Saint John Sea Dogs need your help!
On Wednesday, March 5th, FedEx Express and the Saint John Sea Dogs will be collecting new and used hockey skates and equipment in support of Skate to Great, which provides equipment to children in need and at-risk youth. All donations will be made to local non-profit program, P.R.O. Kids.
The Sea Dogs host the Moncton Wildcats at 7 p.m. Fans are asked to drop off donations at the main doors of Harbour Station for the chance to win an autographed Saint John Sea Dogs jersey!
"This is a great initiative with our partners at FedEx Express Canada," said Sea Dogs President Wayne Long. "They are terrific sponsors, and we have wonderful, generous fans who want to help. We want more children playing the greatest game in the world and this equipment drive can help make that a reality."
