The Michigan Warriors scored a Franchise record-tying 9 goals in a game with tonight's 9-4 victory over the Johnstown Tomahawks tonight at Perani Arena. The Warriors increased their hold on 2nd place behind Port Huron to 4 points over Johnstown in the battle for playoff position in the NAHL North Division as the season has less than a month to go in the regular season.

Michigan last scored 9 goals in a game when they defeated the Port Huron Fighting Falcons 9-1 at Perani Arena on January 8, 2011. The 9-goals scored in a game was first accomplished by a Michigan Warriors team in a game on the road against Port Huron in November, 2011 when Michigan defeated Port Huron 9-2.

The Warriors travel to face the Soo Eagles, Port Huron Fighting Falcons and Janesville Jets before returning to Perani Arena on Friday March 21, 2014.
